RICH MOUNTAIN - BEVERLY, WEST VIRGINIA - JULY 2006 - Mess No. 1 created and organized the Rich Mountain 145th Anniversary Event with the Rich Mountain Battlefield Foundation.  The Federals (10th Indiana) at Rich Mountain were the first in 145 years to complete the flank march, and we did it without knapsacks, just like the originals under Rosecrans.
